Theatre of the Oppressed NYC

Get ready to move! Theatre of the Oppressed NYC will show you how to use theatrical games and scenes to investigate situations in which we are denied our basic rights, personally and collectively, and uncover the many possible alternatives to these real-life challenges. Every exercise will encourage you to take risks, express yourself freely, be physical, imaginative and silly, and have fun. Absolutely no theatre experience necessary. Breakfast provided!
Breakfast will be served at 10:30am and the workshop will take place from 11am-2pm.
SPACE IS LIMITED; please reserve your ticket and cancel if you cannot make it so we can admit people on the waiting list.

This will be an awesome experience for students who want to get a head start on making new friends, explore leadership concepts through hands-on team building adventure activities, and learn more about involvement opportunities at RI College. During this trip you will challenge yourself to try new things, be creative, meet new people, and have fun!
